To reinforce and promote lifelong learning, linguistic and cultural diversity, mobility and the engagement of Maltese citizens within the European dimension, in particular the young.

European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals (IFTN)

What is IFTN? The successful integration of Third-Country nationals (TCNs) legally residing in the Member States of the European Union is vital to strengthening freedom, security and justice in Europe both on a national and trans-national basis.

According to the European Union any country which is not a Member State is considered to be a Third-Country. This means that countries like the United States, Russia, China, and Australia are amongst those listed as Third-Countries.

Therefore…let’s embrace diversity!

Why IFTN? Enhance interaction & promote integration between 3rd-Country Nationals & Maltese citizens / Learn about and acknowledge different immigrant backgrounds / Encourage personal development by embracing the different cultural perspectives / Exchange information on best practices and measures amongst other Member States

Who? Governmental, Non-governmental, private organizations as well as any individual  creative enough to come up with an innovative proposal which will emphasise the ‘What’!

Whether a public or private body you will have the opportunity to present us with a project proposal which highlights the main objectives of this programme. The successful applicant/s will have the project substantially financed by the European Commission. Not to mention the public coverage, strategic relationships formed, and recognition and satisfaction achieved on accomplishment.

Where? Here When? Now! How? Log on to www.eupa.org.mt for our contact details.

For further information on the IFTN contact  Ms. Alexia Stafrace, IFTN Programme Officer, EUPA. e-mail: alexia.stafrace@gov.mt or tel: +356 2558 6142
